Application and Admission

Target groups

The subject of the degree “Mensch-Computer-Systeme” explores human interaction with technology. Students should therefore have both technical affinity and interest in relevant psychological questions. Good mathematical knowledge, and good English skills are required. In addition to the graduation from high school, there are no other formal requirements.


The course of studies is restricted. Admission is given based on marks from graduation from high school. Selection limits for the last semesters are available here.


A study start is possible in every winter semester. An application is possible every year from mid-May to July 15 (until 24:00) through the online portal of the university. Students who which to continue or change their field of study can apply each semester (until 15 July or 15 January). Information about the application procedure can be found here.
